Meet Marjan Hassaneini
Ceramic artist, teacher and founder of Lemarsis Pottery Studio, with 30+ years in ceramics
Marjan graduated from the Iranian Cultural Heritage University in 1998 and has spent her career making and teaching ceramics. Her work has been exhibited across three continents, and since becoming active in the Canadian arts scene in 2018 she has collaborated with Toronto's Gardiner Museum.
Her teaching blends traditional Persian techniques with contemporary methods. She has taught more than 1,000 students, and keeps classes to 5 or 6 so everyone gets real attention.
